Power Couple to the nth degree

I love the Glycolic Acid version of Good Genes. I find it seems to give quicker noticeable results. I do have the Lactic Acid and use it every 3rd night instead of the Glycol. The changes in my skin over the years have evened out with the Sunday Riley products I use.

GG Glycolic Acid

So far this Good Genes (GA) hasn't irritated my skin at all when used with the Luna Oil at night. However having tried both versions, I find I prefer the GG All-in-One Lactic Acid which I've just reordered in a larger size. The GG AIO really gives my skin instant, visible results (just be careful around the eye area). Along with the CEO Rich Vitamin C Cream for daytime, it's my favorite item for a dry desert climate. Better than lactic

It is a lot like the lactic acid one but I’d say it’s stronger and penetrates deeper. My skin is softer and I’ve seen results in the past week I’ve been using it.

I have been hooked on

I have been hooked on Good Genes for a while, but only recently realized this version existed. I already love the Luna oil, so this kit was perfect for trying out the glycolic acid GG. So far, I think this version works better for my skin. Another Sunday Riley win!

I got this to try

I got this to try both products out and I am very pleased. I will be buying full size bottles of both. My main concern is fine lines and wrinkles. I can feel the products working and saw a difference almost immediately. I have combination skin but I don’t feel like the products dry out or make my face more oily. My skin is more under control than it has been in years.

The jury is still out ...

I have been using the power couple only at night for about 2 weeks now. First of all, the night oil does not absorb into my skin ... my forehead stays oily therefore my bangs get oily. The scent is not pleasing to me either. The glycolic doesn't seem to be doing much more than when I was using the lactic acid twice daily. Again, only have used for 2 weeks.

Great way to try out

Great way to try out ceramic slip and the glycolic version of good genes! Definitely looking forward to getting the full sized versions of both.

Love Luna, glycolic a little sting-y

I absolutely love the Luna night oil and have had several large jars of it already- it makes my skin have a gorgeous glow to it the next day. I wanted to love the glycolic good genes and have used other glycolic products in the past but it seems those were lower concentrations. On my sensitive skin, the good genes glycolic definitely stung more than other glycolic treatments have in the past. Other than initial sting, it seemed to work fine, didn't cause any redness and took the edge off the coloration of my spot. I also use the CEO cream which I love and a+ serum- better than Luna retinal wise but a little drying/ not as glowy of results, all of which I mix up days using so not all at once.

I have been using Good Genes lactic acid and Luna oil for about a year and have always loved them. I wanted to give the glycolic acid a try. It was just the umph my skin needed. I absolutely love it! My over 40 year old skin glows! I have very sensitive skin and my skin has responded perfectly to the glycolic acid. This is the perfect little sample package to try something new.
