Nice color

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Love the salted caramel color! One or two swipes provide great coverage. This lip gloss stick feels comfortable on the skin and isn’t drying. It has a mango like scent to it. I didn’t need to reapply until a few hours later.

A great product… but it’s just not for me

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Not sure how I feel about this lippy to be honest with you. It’s definitely glossy. I know that it’s supposed to be hydrating, but quite frankly I feel like it’s just sitting on my lips. It’s very thick and it definitely smells of caramel. But doesn’t taste like it. I did the drink test the color has stayed however now my water bottle has an extra film around it 😖 I won’t be purchasing this.

Nice buildable coverage

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This is one of my favourite lipstick formulations I love how it sits somewhere between a gloss and a traditional lipstick, it’s buildable so you can get as little or much coverage and colour as you want. I wouldn’t say it’s the longest lasting, I have to reapply every couple of hours but it’s not a chore because of how hydrating the product is, I don’t have to worry about my lips drying out or being crusty.

Shiny, Glossy Lips

This lip product is very juicy and makes the lips look plump and shiny. It’s a thicker consistency, but is not sticky. It lasts fairly well and I only need to re-apply after eating or drinking. I love the mid-toned warm brown color of Salted Caramel. It’s a perfect spring to summer shade. The packaging is weighty and the product clicks up by twisting. It has the signature YSL fruity scent which I find pleasant. Overall it’s a great shiny lip product that makes the lips look and feel supple and hydrated.

Comfortable glossy shine - Gorgeous

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I really loved that has a good amount of color -it's not completely sheer. The shade 19 Salted Caramel is gorgeous and looks beautiful on the lips. I'm usually not a gloss person, but this one surprised me it felted more like a hybrid between a gloss and a lipstick. Is not sticky at all, yet it gives a really nice shine and smooth finish. I like to use it on top of a lip liner or a matte lipstick in a similar shade and it layers really well without feeling heavy. The texture feels comfortable and hydrating, which is a very big plus for me since I have very dry lips. It also has that signature YSL scent/taste that I personally enjoy. The packaging is gorgeous and definitely feels high-end. Overall I think it's totally worth it - I would absolutely repurchase and highly recommend it.

More Balm Than Gloss—Manage Expectations

The texture is thicker and very emollient—hydrating, yes, but lacking that slick, reflective “jelly gloss” finish. Salted Caramel also surprised me; it pulls more orange than expected, which doesn’t flatter cooler undertones as well. It’s wearable, just not what I envisioned. The packaging is solid and nicer than the plumping lip oil gloss, but still doesn’t quite hit that ultra-luxe YSL feel. Overall, it’s not bad—it’s just a bit… forgettable. If you love a sheer, comfortable, balm-like formula, you’ll probably enjoy it. If you’re here for shine and that juicy gloss effect, this may disappoint.

Surprising color payoff

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I received the color salted caramel which is a lovely 90's brown shade with a surprising color pay off. It goes on smoothly and looks good with or without liner. It feels comfortable on the lips and does not dry out or become feathery, but it is a little sticky. The packing is beautiful and classic. I would recommend this for someone that loves a tinted gloss with a hint of shine and doesn't mind a bit of stickiness.

luxury glossy lipstick experience

very beautiful packaging, feels luxurious. this shade 19 gives clean girl, latte makeup vibes. I am medium skin toned and It matched me well. it’s very smooth, balmy and slightly on the lips. it’s very shiny but not sticky, it’s the most important part for me in lip glosses. it’s very hydrating and this hydration lasts more than the colos itself on the lips.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I really like the packaging of this lipstick. It’s a nice nude and it blends nicely with my skin tone. You do have to twist it 6x each time you apply so that is a bit annoying but not bad. I love the shade though.
