Valentino Uomo Born in Roma has quickly become a staple in my fragrance rotation. From the very first spray, it made a strong impression, and the more I wear it, the more I appreciate its complexity and balance. The scent opens with a unique blend of mineral notes, violet leaf, and a touch of sea salt. That combination creates a fresh and vibrant introduction that feels both clean and bold. It’s not your typical citrusy fresh — it has a refined edge that immediately sets it apart. After a few minutes, the mid notes come forward, where the ginger and sage bring a subtle spice and aromatic quality. It’s that little kick of warmth and energy that keeps things interesting without being overwhelming. The dry down is what really sold me. Once it settles on the skin, you get a warm, woody base of vetiver and other woods that adds depth and a sense of elegance.
