A really nice strong lavender scent. Not too sweet it’s really balanced. The projection is amazing you will get compliments all day. Sillage and performance are really good as well. I would highly recommend this scent.

Woody, Springy Smell

The smell of the cologne was very strong and it got me a lot of compliments. You don’t have to spray very much to get it to smell. The smell is very woody and dark. It’s versatile for everyday use and comes in premium packaging.

Valentino Uomo is a smooth and refined fragrance with a rich blend of hazelnut, leather, and powdery iris. Its warm, gourmand quality makes it an effortlessly stylish choice, though the sweetness is a bit more pronounced than I’d prefer. Overall, I’d rate it 3.7/5—elegant and well-crafted, just slightly sweeter than my ideal scent.

Solid designer sweet scent!

Born In Roma Extradose is my first fragrance from the Valentino house. I’ve heard that the Born In Roma line leans on the sweet side, and this fragrance falls in line. The projection is a nice bubble that definitely announces your presence, and the longevity is a nice solid 8 hours on my skin, where the last 2-3 hours lie closer to the skin. Not a fan of sweet or gourmand scents, per se, but I don’t mind this one as the lavender and spiciness take up space to balance it out. From my collection, this reminds me of a blend of YSL Myslf EDP and Lattafa Khamrah. The Khamrah is too spicy and the Myslf is right up my alley, so I find this balance in the Valentino is enough to get me through once the 10ml left of my Myslf bottle is up. I have enjoyed wearing this in the Spring, will use on the cooler days of Summer, and will definitely use in Fall and Winter, so I’d say this is a versatile fragrance!

This scent is a great, fresh, all around Swiss army knife. Anytime, anywhere, any season this will work. The fresh notes work anywhere but the amber and woody notes give it the strong base that will let last, project, and linger in the air long after you've left the room. All that soapy freshness in a unique package.

Very versatile fragrance, night out or everyday

Strong masculine botanical scent, may be over powering for some people. Atomizers distributes very well. Can be used for a night out or just an every day masculine scent.

This scent definitely turns head and I have gotten asked many times what I’m wearing. I personally think this can be for both men and women, depending on your scent preferences.
