No.5 Leave In Moisturize & Mend - Plejende fugtgivende balsam

Lovely addition

Olaplex no. 5 leave in conditioner moisturizers in mends. I highly recommend using this in addition to any Olaplex products. I was offered this product in exchange for my honest review. It’s meant for all hair types so even if you have fine hair or thick hair, this will benefit you. After using my hair felt more hydrated, but not greasy. Being that I have fine, short, bleached hair, means that I have to really prioritize my hydration.

My favorite

One of my favorite products. It leaves my hair feeling super soft and makes my curls look healthy, shiny, and more defined. I like that I can’t even feel that there’s product in my hair. This leave in conditioner paired with the #7 oil works like magic. This is a must in my routine

Meh

This product really don’t do much for me. I was using it’s a 10 before this and loved the way it left my hair but this didn’t even compare. I feel like my split ends are very apparent. Will not be buying again!

This is my second bottle purchased and I really love this product. I would be honest, it is not the only product I use in my everyday routine, I am using two pumps of the “Living proof triple bond comple” on my ends and, after waiting 10 minutes I use like one full pump of this leave-in… and it really changed my hair when styling! (I using other oil drops too, but not going to mention the brand since can’t be purchase here). Would be to totally honest again, I think this kind of product it’s not repairing my hair… would be visible damage as before if I stopped using it, but really help to prevent the future damage I would be doing that day with my heating tools and would make it look healthy and shiny while using it. Really happy with the result since it was really fried after visiting a bad salon and couldn’t use my flat iron cuz would fried even more… this hidrates and protect my hair good enough to styling my hair again. (Just don’t over use it or would make your hair greasy).

Completely transformed my hair - 10/10!

About 5 weeks ago I went to the hair dressers to have my hair bleached from 15 years worth of black box dye to light auburn brown. It completely destroyed my hair and I lost half my fringe through so much damage! A friend recommended Olaplex and my hair has improved so much since I bought it 3 weeks ago. I did my research and started with the no 5 leave in conditioner, and even after the first use I was shocked by the amazing results. My hair instantly felt moisturised, healthier and less damaged. After 3 weeks of use, combined with their no4 shampoo and no5 conditioner (which I bought as I liked this product so much!) - my hair has improved lots. It isn’t as damaged, frizzy and has actually started to grow back, rather than constantly breaking off at the ends through damage. If you aren’t sure how to start your Olaplex journey and you have damaged hair then definately start with this product and see how you go. Overall I am thrilled with the results so far, the products aren’t cheap but I really do believe you get what you pay for, 10/10!

Product Formulation Has Changed

I have used this product for a couple of years and it has been thick and worked beautifully. However, coincidentally with the change in package design (there are now wavy lines printed on the bottle) the product is MUCH thinner, drippy, and dare I say watered down. Previous formulation was a 5 for me.

Would not repurchase

Bought this because I wanted the heat protection built into the leave-in conditioner. I have dry hair and try to use only a little bit, but this leaves my hair dull and greasy immediately after blow drying. It’s so bad I’m not even going to bother using up the bottle

Love it

This leave-in is the only thing that will leave my extremely curly, course, dry, long hair smooth and shiny!

Not good for waves

I did not like it it ruins my waves every time even though it is a very thin consistency it weighs my waves down and does not help with moisture or definition or hold

Brought my hair back from the dead

I am very picky with hair products and was expecting to hate this, but after frying my hair with bleach and then finishing it off by abusing a protein/collagen mask and it was looking like the end of some fibre optic cables, I was desperate. I’d never had so much breakage and volume loss, and it was like my hair stands grew tiny hands and would grab on to my wet hair brush and rip out of my head. This mask helped bring it back to life, along with the no.8, no.3, & no.7, I’ve repeat purchased them all and I’ll do it again.

BEWARE

This Product weighed down my hair and made it crunchy and my hair didn’t fully dry for a full day even with blow dry and I had hair loss after, do not recommend for anyone!
