Lip Glowy - Balm

the best lip balm ever!!

i love this product so much. every single scent is amazing. Ive went through almost 3 now.

I love most Laneige products. I also love the lip glowy balms. I've used many different flavors and am usually very satisfied. When I saw the Taro and Matcha release I immediately grabbed both, as a bubble tea loving girly. I ripped open the packaging and applied them back to back excitedly, however both were so weakly scented I was immediately disappointed. They both have a soapy clean scent that comes forward and then if you are paying SUPER close attention, you MIGHT get the faintest whiff of matcha or taro. Very big bummer. The lip balm itself is still wonderful, but I specifically bought these two new scents because I love those flavors. These barely deliver. Will not repurchase these scents.

World’s Weakest Taro

The scent of the taro bubble tea balm is so weak that it’s practically imaginary. If you abstain from using any product that may have the slightest hint of fragrance (including toothpaste), then you might be lucky enough to pick up the tiniest whiff of something vaguely sweet when you apply this. I can smell every other Laneige product I own just fine — some are even too strongly scented for me —but this one was a huge disappointment. It’s inexcusable to advertise something as taro when it doesn’t have that signature sweet and nutty scent. I give this two stars only because I like the thick texture and its staying power.

Super sticky- not hydrating

I got this and was super excited after hearing great things. Unfortunately I found this super sticky and not hydrating at all. The scent is great but the product drys my lips out.

Good product, awful scent

I love this product usually. Bonus points if it smells and tastes good. I’ve always done the gummy bear scent and have loved it every time but was excited to try the blueberry. It tastes awful it’s like I have sprayed perfume on my mouth. Will be returning.

Looks beautiful, but NO scent!

Looks beautiful on lips, suuuper glossy, very nourishing, but literally NO SCENT AT ALL!!!! I had the peppermint prior and that one had so much flavor. Very disappointing!

WORST! More CONS than PROS!!!

I only gave this 3 because… there are more cons than pros for me. The PROS are that the packaging is cute and the color is very pretty. The CONS are that the scent does not smell like gummy bears but the terrible grape flavored skittles. The the product only lasts on your lips for 5 minites and you have to keep on reapplying. And becuase you have to keep pn reapplying the gloss ends very wuoclly and I got mine this christmas and now its almsot emptty if you want a good gloss just get lipsmackers becuase Laneige and Summer Fridays are just really overhyped and do not work.

Very nice hydrated for daily routine, can keep you hydrated for longer periods

Such on authentic Taro!

Yes, this lip product can be a little sticky but it doesn’t bother me as much. This stickiness makes sense because I find it gripping to stay in my lips unlike other that move around and move all around and out the lip line. The smell to me is perfect and I even tried the matcha one in store. I felt the matcha was a lighter matcha flavor in comparison to the Taro which is a bit heavier scented.
