Sunny Summer Must-Have

Estée Lauder used to make this tinted moisturizer a LONG time ago (like 10 years or more), and my never-ending foundation search began after they discontinued it. There is something about this that DOES shift to your skin tone - BUT, only if you are light to medium skin tone with neutral or warm undertones. That being said, it is fantastic at evening out the skin tone without looking like you have makeup on and is SO easy to apply and blend with fingers. Make this your summer go-to and you will be pleased.

Love it

This product is amazing, I have been using it for better than a couple of years now. I do not like foundation, but sometimes I want my skin looking a little extra and this delivers. This product does not cover like a foundation but it does make a good complexion look like a perfect and glowing one, and as though I have nothing in at all. The tint is genius. It comes out of the tube as a very pale blue/white cream. If you blend it on your skin and also on someone else’s skin and wipe off with a tissue...the developed color is different?!! For me this is perfect as I work outdoors a lot and before finding this I was buying two different shades of another product, I used each one depending upon how much sun I was getting so my face wasn’t a different color and I have always had to blend products to match my skin. I have a fair olive complexion that is nearly impossible to match with mixing different shades. 365 days a year this product is a perfect match. It also lends a very healthy natural glow, I always receive compliments on my skin when I wear this. Tip: If I do have a blemish I use a pressed powder foundation in a lighter shade on the blemish before applying this product. If I still see it then I dab a tiny bit more pressed powder and blend by dabbing a finger. This product easily blends even well after application time. The trick is not to use too much and if you have dry skin apply a small amount of non-tinted moisturizer first before this product. But not a heavy one or you’ll be too shiny. I find that if I use about two, pea-sized drops that’s best.

Beautifier

I’m on my 3d one now, buy every year close to summer time . Nice daytime beauty light spf for a special lunch dates ;) not for oily skin . Healthy dewy finish . If you like no make up but yes make up look , this guy is for you !

ORANGE

I was so excited to try this product, while it makes your skin feel soft, it's straight up orange when blended!!! Really dissapointed.

Doesn't do much

I like this product, but I don't think it does very much. I used to use the tinted moisturizer which I LOVE but Estee Lauder doesn't make it anymore. I tried this not realizing that it had no tint. At this point I am just going to use it until it is gone, but I have no interest in purchasing it again.

hard to blend

I like it that it's easy to use and it evens out my skin tone a little bit, but it's really hard to blend. I always feel like I'm dragging on my face trying to blend it out. It has a slight fresh scent to it that is not offensive, but I'd prefer something that is fragrance-free.

great everyday wear

Let me start by saying I’m not good at wearing makeup everyday. I don’t wear heavy foundation and I don’t have sensitive or bad skin. I’m terrible at remembering to wear SPF daily. This killed two birds with one stone. It’s creamy and white right out of the bottle and the scent isn’t too strong. First time I applied it I wore a primer and applied it with a Blender. I think most of it stayed in the sponge and I think the primer kept the color from developing quickly. Second day I wore no primer and used my fingers to apply. As soon as I backed out of the garage I could see the color. I applied a little too much on one cheek but because it’s so moist I was able to move it around no problem. All day my face felt moist and supple and did not look oily. Overall I’d say it’s a great tinted moisturizer if you need just some color and you don’t want thick, heavy foundation. I’m happy it has SPF as well and I’m definitely using for daily wear to work. I gave it 5 stars because it did exactly what it said it would on the box, moisturize and hydrate all day.

Love it, it does oxidize. Too dark for fair-light

I do love this moisturizer. Only thing is I would definitely say it oxidizes. Not by a whole lot, but it still does. On my skin anyways. Also, anyone fairly light skinned would not be able to pull this off. This works great for me in the summer, but in the winter it's too dark. I wish they just had tone options for ranges of skin tones. I have to use a different brand in the winter, because it has tone options.

adds warmth the cool-toned skin

It is true, that if you use too much you will look orange. I apply half a pea-size amount with a flat kaboki brush and it gives my skin a healthy glow, that leans toward bronze-y. I have cool-toned skin, so it adds warmth and some coverage. I thought it would be perfect for summer, but in mid-November, I still wear it everyday.

Didn’t Work For Me (Freckled & Fair)

I wanted a really lightweight tinted moisturizer and wanted to try this. I am freckled and pretty fair skinned and this just did not work for me. It feels very nice on the skin however it got way too dark and made me look a little orange. It has no color at all when it comes out of the tube but almost immediately on me, it looked like I had applied the wrong color fake tan on my face. It may look great on light/medium/darker complexions but for someone pale and freckled this may not work for you. There is also only this single choice of “color” so no way to really choose anything different on that front.

This is the what I use in the summer instead of foundation. It gives a nice sheer coverage and smells great. I use a little powder over it to set and I’m good to go. I don’t like heavy coverage in the summer and this is perfect. It smells great too!

This is just a good ol regular day moisturizer. Nothing special about it. Keeps my face moisturized throughout the day and that's about it.
