The nasty smell of this product is overwhelming. It’s so bad I cannot use it. Very disappointed.

Disappointed – Unusable Due to Smell and Taste

I honestly thought I had received a defective product until I started reading other reviews. The color and lasting power of the lip stain are great—but the taste and smell are absolutely awful. It was so strong and unpleasant that I couldn't bring myself to use it more than a couple of times. I ended up throwing it out within a week. It’s shocking that something with such an overpowering scent could make it through quality control. Unfortunately, I won’t be repurchasing, and this experience has definitely made me question trying other Tarte products in the future.

Not what I expected

I wanted to love it. The color is perfect, but it has a weird taste, and it doesn't last at all. Very disappointed because the price is a little high. 😔

Very disappointed with the product! Tastes terrible! Doesn’t last long! The color is beautiful but for the price we pay it’s really not worth!

I love the formula and it stays quite well. I rubbed my lips and nothing came off. I didn’t notice a smell or a weird taste. Little goes a long way.

This was very runny and the color was very patchy.

Disappointing

The color is absolutely beautiful and the color payoff is great. The application process is a bit of a learning curve as it’s hard to tell how much product you’ve dispensed on the applicator. Unfortunately despite letting the product set, it doesn’t last very long at all.

Not transfer proof. Not long lasting at all, especially if you want to apply a product over the top (like a gloss for moisturizing because it’s very drying). The packing and applicator is also very gimmicky. There are far better options for the price point.

Beautiful berry color only stains clothes

I wanted to love it so much. The deep berry worse. Don’t waste your money. color is so pretty on my skin, but it’s gone after just a few minutes. The product has a bitter taste when you build it, which makes it worse. Don’t waste your money girlies. This isn’t the one.

Never leave home without it now.

I went in to the store to get Benefit’s new raspberry tint and found this gem on accident instead! Same color and similar formula in an easy to apply pom applicator. Blown away. Buildable, hydrating, lasts 24+hrs on me.
