Absolutely love this scent! When trying to figure out which one I wanted to try first, it was only natural to go with James because that is my partners name and it did not disappoint. The gardenia is the most prominent scent that comes through on me which is such a beautiful natural smell anyways. I love how it sprays on so smooth and it doesn't feel heavy. I do feel like I have to spray it on a couple of times throughout the day but I truly don't mind it! Its a beautiful smell and I'm so happy with my purchase - my partner also loves the smell which is a plus 😉❤️

Obsessed

Love this scent. Reminds me of summertime honeysuckle in the wind. It’s become my current favorite!

The most beautiful scent!

I wear this all year round, except for peak summer days when I wear Missy. James is a stunningly warm, down-to-earth but also classy floral which I get complimented on daily. It works for every occasion, including the work place, and it has become my signature. Beautiful scent that lasts — run, don’t walk to get yourself a bottle!

Wish it lasted longer

Great smell but I really wish it lasted all day. It seems like I can smell it mostly, and for only half a day. I do love it!

Intoxicating

I love this smell. I can’t stop smelling this when I have it on.

Not a safe blind buy

Unfortunately since this is online only, a blind buy was the only option. I like most By Rosie Jane fragrances and the notes on this one are all ones I like so I thought it would be safe. At first sniff of the bottle I got wet paint vibes. I sprayed some on my arm hoping the dry down would be better. Unfortunately it’s worse. The smell has evolved to pencil shavings and old “granny” and is actually making me gag. On the bright sode, it seems to have good staying power as I tried to wash it off and can still smell it.

After using this product I don’t love the smell I don’t recommend it

NOT blind buy safe

OOF. this is a very specific floral. its not for me. in my personal opinion it smells like a bad floral mixed with sweat. HOWEVER, my mother said she thinks it smells pretty good, so i'd def smell this one in person before buying.

A blind buy

James was a blind buy and I have zero regrets with taking the chance. I am typically a gourmand scents person; YSL Libre Intense is my usual go to. Initially, the gardenia is the only scent to come through; very fresh and a little green. Over time it transforms and the fig balances it beautifully. I occasionally like to layer it with Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia if I want a little sweet. This is not an overwhelming perfume but it's just enough to garner compliments. It's pleasant, fresh, and inviting. If you're reading my review and considering this scent; I highly recommend making the purchase.

LOVE

This is my 3rd parfum/perfume oil purchase. I bought the sample pack and fell in love. This one has a citrus-ie and fresh cut grass, crisp, clean fragrance. If you like Dylan or Leila Lou you'll love this one too!

Where’s the fig

Everyone smells scents differently but I’m obsessed with fig perfumes and the fig is undetectable here. You can barely smell amber. Just an overdose of gardenia that’s a cross from vintage grandma to funeral home bouquet decay, I. I actually had to return my purchase

Please please please never get rid of this.

I came to by/ rosie jane for Leila Lou out of a sample set. I was CERTAIN that Madie was going to be my love. and the jasmine was too much for me. Then I fell for Rosie day by day, took a leap and spayed James and oh my. It's my go-to Late Summer/Fall/Winter fragrance. Sometimes even Spring & Summer. Rosie is my snuggle up and get naked sleeping fragrance, but James is how I want to be remembered..
