Nice scent and not too overwhelming!

The smell is long-lasting, I sprayed a little on my wrist at 1 pm and took a bath and the smell is still on my skin. The smell doesn't bother, it doesn't give a headache and it's strong but with a little softness which I love. The packaging is made of glass and weighs a lot.

Great Fresh Colonge with Cool Bottle

I’ve tried the Valentino Uomo Born in Roma EDT for a few days now, and I love it! I’ll definitely be looking for more fragrances with a violet leaf note, because it smelled so fresh! The opening is aquatic and pleasantly but mildly sweet, and after it settles a bit, it has a more woody mineral scent. And because this is an eau de toilette, it’s a lighter fragrance, which is something I really like, especially for colognes! It’s not cloying or overly intense, and doesn’t try too hard to smell overly masculine, rather it's just a nice clean and appealing scent. I also love the bottle! It looks much better in-person than I thought it would. It's made of thick black glass, and which is pretty striking under different lights. The spikes also make it really nice and satisfying to hold. It's smooth, but very grippy, and it's like a very expensive tactile ball. I'd definitely recommend this colonge. I don't feel that it's the most divisive scent, so it's probably even a reasonably safe choice to blind buy or gift.
