Better then D&G Devotion.

The Dolce & Gabbana "The One" is a very nice smelling fragrance, it's reminds me of the old Pac Sun Kira cologne, except a little more mellow & sophisticated. It's better then the D&G Devotion in my opinion as well. Great spring & summer scent, but it's definitely able to be worn at any point through out the year. Solid 4 out of 5.

Decent night winter fragrance

It’s a great fragrance!! It projects amazing and has a nice aromatic smell with notes of citrus, tobacco and a warm smell, it’s nice and boozy it’s definitely a fall/winter night fragrance shouldn’t be used in the summer. pretty expensive for the price but it’s definitely a good blind buy

Smooth and warm flowers and tobacco

I like this one a lot. To me the sage comes through well and pairs off nicely with the tobacco. Possibly a more cold weather event but surely fits well at an evening wedding year round. Great initial scent that changes a bit when dried on but I love how long it lingers.

Bold and Warm

I received the one as a sample and was impressed how it held up throughout the day. It’s definitely masculine with a rich wood scent which I normally love but this was different. There are elements that can work with some additional layering. Overall it’s a polished scent that carries itself well.

Can’t wait to save it in my collection.

I experience Dolce & Gabbana The One as a smooth and refined woody-ambery fragrance that feels effortlessly sophisticated. From the first spray, I notice a subtle freshness of Italian tarocco orange that quickly settles into a warm heart of aromatic clary sage giving the scent depth without overpowering my senses. As it develops, the woody notes blend beautifully with rich amber, cedarwood, sandalwood and a touch of tobacco, creating a creamy, slightly sweet warmth that feels elegant and masculine. On my skin, it stays intimate and inviting rather than loud, which makes it perfect for evenings or special occasions when I want to leave a lasting but understated impression.

I love this

This is one of my favorite fragrances. It’s warm and cozy, but also projects well when you walk past people. It has hints of ginger and tobacco, which sounds like a wild mix, but dries down nicely. Perfect for date nights. Definitely a top pick.

Boasts Confidence and Warm Smells

Good product. Duration: It lasts for 4-6 hours max in an office environment. So if using for date night, it should last a good amount of the date time. I would apply it near neck and chest area. The smell is inviting and warm. The notes of citrus and sage mix is obvious. This is a really good quality product. I feel very manly and confident when wearing this great aroma scent. This would make a great gift too for any guy or man.

Dolce & Gabbana The One for Men Eau de Parfum has a really smooth and classy scent profile. It opens with a warm, slightly spicy vibe and settles into a rich blend of amber and tobacco that feels mature and refined. It’s definitely a great option for date nights or cooler evenings when you want something subtle but attractive. That said, the performance is a bit underwhelming for an eau de parfum. On my skin, it lasts around 4–5 hours before becoming very close to the skin, and the projection isn’t very strong. While the scent itself is well-blended and pleasant, I expected better longevity at this price point. Overall, it smells great and feels sophisticated, but the staying power keeps it from being a standout.

As good as it gets

This fragrance opens with a fresh mix of orange and cardamom. From there, you get a midx of clary sage with a little touch of geranium to add an aromatic touch. After that you really start to get the tobacco around 20 minutes in which mixes with some amber and some cedar to round out the base of the fragrance. Longevity for me is around 7 hours with a light projection of around a foot for most of the wear. This fragrance is great for all seasons, but shines in cooler weather. The reaction I received when asking others what they thought of the fragrance was very positive. My reaction to the fragrance is the same, I love it and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants the perfect tobacco scent.

Long lasting and smells great

A nice scent for any date night! It gives a warm smell of cardamom and ginger that's not overwhelming. It's able to last the whole night and can be worn as a daily scent as well.

Woody aromatic

I grew up having Dolce & Gabbana in my fragrance collection, so it is nice seeing the flankers get the appreciation they deserve. The One EDP falls under “woody aromatic” and is done in a tasteful way. The opening is Orange, cardamom, and grapefruit, then opens up to middl notes of clary sage, patchouli, and geranium. The base notes leave you with tobacco, amber, and cedarwood. Overall, it’s office friendly, manly (not unisex), and not overbearing. This is what people would call a “dumb reach” since it can be worn in most any occassion.
