Amazing conditioner

I really like this conditioner because most conditioners do nothing for my hair and this one surprisingly works very well. I received this as a part of an educational promotion

A bit too light for my bleached hair!

I have been using this conditioner for a week along with the matching shampoo. While I concede that I’ve only been using it for a week, this conditioner isn’t for me personally. It is extremely lightweight, so much so that the first time I picked it up and poured some in my hand I thought I had accidentally put more shampoo in my hand. This texture is great for fine hair that needs volume, and while my hair fits that description, I also have dry hair that has been bleached for years. I was impressed by the shampoo but feel that I personally need a bit heavier of a conditioner. My hair looks straw-like which is not my normal hair texture. It is very possible that because this conditioner is volumizing it plumped up the individual hairs and made my hair look like this. While I do not like the way it looks, my hair does feel fuller and stronger. I will continue use to see if my hair adjusts to this set. I was gifted this conditioner in exchange for my honest feedback.

Smooth and healthy finish

This conditioner is the perfect match for the shampoo. It leaves my hair soft, smooth, and shiny without ever feeling heavy. What I love most is how easy it is to detangle and style after using it, my hair feels healthier, lighter, and so much more manageable every time.

strengthen for fine / damaged hair

I received this product as part of an educational program. I was very excited to try it out because I have very fine straight hair that often doesn't hold volume well. I am also so self conscious of my split ends and breakage on the ends of my hair. This conditioner has really helped strength my fine ends just after a week or so. I have also noticed y volume holding longer after a blow out, and my hair doesn't look dried out. This is after only a week or so. I can;t wait to see the long term improvement after using this in my regular routine.

Silky softness and shine, but more is more

The conditioner has a silky cream texture that spreads easily through my fine hair, though I find I need slightly more than usual to fully coat my strands. I like leaving it in for a few minutes while I finish the rest of my shower routine, and when I rinse, my hair feels soft, smooth, and nearly tangle-free. Once dry, it has a nice flow and movement without feeling weighed down, though the volume isn’t noticeably more than with my usual conditioners. Shine and softness are definitely enhanced, and brushing through feels easier with fewer snags. Overall, it delivers hydration and smoothness with a lightweight feel, though I wish it packed a bit more richness so less product would be needed. Thickening

I’m 35 with fine to just shy of medium thickness with some hair thinning and/or falling out starting to be an issue as I’m getting older. After shampooing and conditioning with this set I do feel like my hair has a noticeable extra thickness to it, and after blowdrying I think it feels like it has more volume than it does after washing with other products, even with no additional styling product put in it. I don’t particularly care for the smell but I think this is just what most Olaplex products smell like, just a little chemically smelling for my liking. I may have noticed a little extra fallout than usual so that seems counterproductive but will continue to use to see if it seems to strengthen my hair after longer term use. I also wish it left my hair feeling a bit smoother after rinsing, still has that squeaky clean kind of feeling. Great Shampoo

I received this shampoo as part of an educational promotion. I have used Olaplex before and I have been a fan, and this shampoo No. 5 for fine hair was no different. As someone with really fine and color-treated hair, I need a shampoo that will not knot my hair and still gives me a clean feeling. The Olaplex shampoo produces a great amount of suds and a little goes a long way. After shampooing and blow drying my hair, my hair felt smooth. Something that it has not felt in a while, since my hair texture has changed due to aging. I got my shine back and noticed a change its manageability. The shampoo provided a perfect balance of a clean wash and a great outcome. I would totally recommend.

Makes my hair soft!

Thank you so much for to beauty tap and olaplex for sending me this product to test out! I liked this a lot! It definitely made my hair smell amazing for all day long. It also helped detangle my hair very easily which was nice. It didn’t make my curls as defined as other conditioners do, but it still made it feel soft. Overall I would recommend because it is a good product!

Olaplex #4 Bond Maintenance Conditioner

I want to preface this by saying that I am not sure that I have the correct hair type for the Olaplex #4 fine bond maintenance conditioner. With that being said I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I used both the shampoo and conditioner of this set together. Let me start with the good things. They both felt very nice on my hair. The conditioner felt very emollient and hydrating on my hair. It felt very silky after I rinsed it out. After air drying but before any styling or products I felt like my hair was overall smoother, however I was having some static issues which is not normal for me so I can only assume that it was my change in hair care. May not be something everyone experiences but I felt it was worth noting. I do have other Olaplex products including the regular bonding shampoo and conditioner and did not experience this. Also I feel like the shampoo and conditioner smell kinda odd. I don’t care for the scent personally. With all of that being said I think Olaplex makes amazing products and if you have fine hair that needs some volume boost this might be a great conditioner choice for you.

You need it!

Conditioner is always tricky for me because I have fine hair that gets weighed down so easily. I want my hair to feel soft and smooth, but not greasy or flat. Most conditioners I’ve tried in the past either leave me with limp hair by the next day or don’t give me enough moisture to prevent tangles and breakage. That’s why I was really curious to try the Olaplex conditioner for fine hair. Since I had already been using the shampoo, I wanted to see if the two together would make a difference. After using this conditioner consistently for a few weeks, I have a lot of thoughts about how it worked for me.

Difference in my hair

I have curly hair so I detangle my hair once I put the conditioner on and I felt like I had to use more conditioner than I normally do with this one. I took a bit longer to detangle my hair, but that aside, I will say that my hair was very soft when I got out of the shower. I have dead and damaged ends, but it hasn't been as noticeable after using this. I also see more shine in my hair. I received this product as a part of an educational promotion.
