Luscious Curl - Cleansing Balm

The cleansing balm was fine but it was a little thick for me and made me feel like it was not lathering as much as I wanted it to. My hair is not as curly as it used to be. My son who has curly to coily hair used it and he liked it! Giving this four stars because although it worked ok for me it was better for my son.

I couldn’t get enough of how great my hair felt! So luxurious in the shower and smells refreshing and clean, my hair normally starts to frizz immediately but I let it air dry and was so surprised. No frizz!

This did wonders for my hair! I have really curly, frizzy hair and so far so good! It's moisturized my curls so much and smells amazing. I only needed to shampoo once with this and it cleaned my hair really well.

I have have fine, frizzy hair. I used this as a co-wash, and my hair is so hydrated without being oily. The frizziness is completely gone! I'm left with shiny and healthy hair. I purchased the full size after trying the deluxe sample.

Very good cleansing cream!!

I have curly/wavy hair but straitened it daily. I wash my hair daily and will sometimes use conditioner to wash my hair to keep it from drying out. I received this as a deluxe sample and love it! My hair has been damaged from using coconut oil daily. Yes, it can damage certain types of hair by preventing absorption of conditioners. Look it up. Anyway, I used this and followed it with condition. It made my hair feel clean, soft and silky. I still have dry ends that will have to be trimmed, but this is a very good cleansing cream.

From the outset, I have wavy 2c hair, not curly hair, so bear that in mind. If this weren’t so heavily fragranced, I would give it five stars. It took quite a bit of product to wash my shoulder length fine wavy hair, so I could imagine it would take even more for curly or thick hair. All those negatives aside? My hair was so soft and smooth with well defined ringlets after using this with Briogeo conditioner, I really think it’s worth considering if you don’t wash every day (and what wavy or curly does?) I wash maybe twice a week which makes it a product I could work into my hair care routine. Gentle lather does a remarkably good job of leaving my hair clean and moisturized so that the curl comes out beautifully…
