Drama in a Tube

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. Out of ∼10 mascaras in my rotation, Lancôme’s Lash Idôle Curl Goddess is the one I grab when I need all-day hold—that says a lot. The rose-gold tube is gorgeous and the brush is clever: it coats every lash for dramatic, false-lash effect without smudging. It truly stays put for hours; removal is the usual waterproof story (oil-based remover does the trick), but the payoff is worth it.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Goddess, indeed! I'm a sucker for a good mascara, and I'm a very tough customer. I have watery eyes from allergies, so it's fair to say that I run right through mascaras! If they wind up on my cheek or - worse - in my eyes, the go in the trash, no matter how expensive they were! Truth be told, I'm still on the hunt for the perfect mascara. As you can see in my photo my natural lashes are pathetic. Too light, too short, too boring. And I love that fake eyelash look! This is one step closer. It didn't budge all day long (Yes, I did put it on the other eye!), and it was sooo much easier to remove than waterproof mascara. It darkened up my lashes and gave them length. I haven't tried wearing it in the rain yet, but that will be the next test. If it passes, this may - just may - be "the one". Highly recommended!

Love the way this mascara made my lashes look! I took a break from my lash girl and this mascara really gave me the lift and detail I needed. However… I do feel like by the end of the day the mascara did transfer a bit to my under eye and gave me a little darkness under my eyes. I would recommend not not if you plan on wearing it all day

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I really love this mascara! The wand and formula help my lashes look longer and curled nicely! In the photo both lashes were curled and the left eye (in the picture) has one coat of mascara! Builds nicely and I haven’t noticed any flaking or clumping.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] It was really great to get a chance to try the Lancome Lash Idôle Curl Goddess Mascara! First off, I love the packaging of the wand. It’s gold so it looks and feels royal. The handle is very comfortable hold and ergonomically made my opinion. I like the curve of of the bristles because it fits around my lashes nicely and I also like the fact that plenty of product comes out almost too much on the tip, but I was still able to maneuver it enough so my lashes did not clump up. The color payoff is a natural black color, and I also like the fact that this stays on all day without smudging. I have sensitive eyes so I appreciate the fact that this did not irritate my eyes while I was wearing it. I also appreciate the fact that I was able to wash the mascara off lashes without excessively rubbing my lashes. I think this mascara lives up to the trusted Lancôme name. And I have switched to this mascara and will look into possibly purchasing this in the future.

LOVE THIS MASCARA!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This mascara works great and gives my lashes a lot of length and definition without clumping. It makes my lashes look fuller and darker, but still natural, and it stays on well throughout the day without smudging. I also like that it builds easily if I want a more dramatic look, but one coat still looks nice for everyday wear. Definitely one of my favorite mascaras and I would buy it again.

Decent Lift!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review.] I do really like the applicator on this. Unfortunately I found the formula itself to be a little too clumpy. However, I did apply it without having to curl my lashes first and it still worked really well in my opinion. I think it lifted my lashes decently well. I don't really see it being worth the price however.

I would not recommend this product to anyone. I tried it on my lashes and my daughter's lashes. We have very different lashes and it did nothing for either of us. It drops your curl, it doesn't fan or add volume. It does nothing. I have drugstore mascara that works WAY better. I returned it.

Love this mascara!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Love the overall esthetic of the packaging. The wand is light and easy to use the product is smooth and applies evenly. Drys relatively quickly so that if you want to layer for a building longer lashes you can. I however only use one pass for everyday use.

(I received this product free) This mascara works pretty well. It does make a difference after 1 coat (all I used in the photo), but I don't like that it leaves my lashes a bit clumpy at the base (reason I didn't add more coats). The brush wand is great, I was able to separate the ends of my lashes using the wand, and it made the curl more visible. I like the formula as it lasted all day with no irritation even after I accidentally rubbed my eye.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The formula of this mascara is pretty good, it’s lightweight, no strong smells, and works great. The shape of the wand is a bit strange and I don’t find it effective at all. That’s the only thing I don’t like about it though so I’d still recommend it. Also, it did transfer a bit to the area below my eyebrows (right above my eyelids) without sweating or anything which is unusual for me with mascara. Other than that and the weird shaped wand it’s pretty decent mascara

Light and Effective

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] This mascara is so easy to hold due to the container shape and texture (and it's pretty too). I love that it's not too heavy and makes lashes look longer and fuller, but still lightweight. One layer looks very natural, but enhanced. I prefer two layers for a little more drama, and even when applying the second coat, it's not clumpy. I do have sensitive eyes, and this formula is easy to wear without irritation.
