Gets thick and clumpy in the tube quickly

I’ve used this mascara for about a month now and I think that truly the only thing great about it is the packaging. The spikes on the wander quite sparse and the formula is very thick. It also has a tendency to get very thick after a couple uses, and I believe it might be because of the same issue that another buyer has mentioned, the inside filter. I wouldn’t recommend this mascara to a friend and I will not be purchasing it again.

Love this mascara; however the second time I used it the inside filter (that’s what I call it) came out when I pulled the wand out. Made a mess everywhere.

Similar to Diorshow Blackout

This is a great, very volumizing mascara. It deposits lots of mascara with just one coat and does not flake or smudge all day for me. It is truly black--like Dior's discontinued Blackout mascara crossed with Pump N'Volume. Yes, it can clump because the formula is quite thick and wet, but that's the nature of dramatically volumizing mascaras. I've been able to easily separate any clumps (and it's not an everyday occurrence). The packaging could use improvement. The wand either bent the first time I used it or was already bent, and the hourglass shape of the brush is bizarre and awkward. The bristles are good, though. Overall, this mascara works well for me and I'm so happy that it's reminiscent of Blackout! There are plenty of drier, more separating formulas on the market but few like this one.

Don’t buy

This mascara looks good when you first apply it, but soon wears off. Last night after a an evening out I looked in the mirror to wash up and was horrified by the black imprint all over my upper eyelids

Noticeable thick, longer lashes but it flakes

My lashes looked longer and thicker but by end of the day it flaked, particularly to under the eye for a smudged look. I’m disappointed and stopped using it.

Just okay!

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Wow, this mascara is so thick. It made my lashes look chunky but if that’s what you like then go for it. It did last all day and It didn’t flake off the application and the wand was great. The pigment was dark and bold and it was buildable. You could either do a light coat or keep adding to get that chunky Affect if that’s what you like.

Worst Mascara

I love Dior makeup but this is the worst. It is thick and gloppy, messy, clumps worse than any mascara I have used, and flakes all over the place. I am so mad I threw the box away or I would return.

Too clumpy

I had high hopes for this product but it is surprisingly very clumpy. It also sheds throughout the day with black particles. I loved the Blackout mascara and can't figure out why it was discontinued. It was the best mascara in the line up. Now I find myself having to go back to the basic Diorshow mascara.

I don’t know how this mascara was named top best. It is horrible. Clumpy, dry, and just terrible.

Skip This One

This mascara flakes as I put it on and throughout the day. It's super black and that why I gave it two stars instead 1. I am very dissappointed in this formula. I was expecting great things but I am very unhappy with the performance.

This is the worst mascara I have ever used. I used it for 1 week and its so horribly clumpy. I used Blackout mascara for years and was hoping this was similar but it was absolutely not.

Great mascara

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I was sent this product to test and leave my review. I really enjoyed this mascara. It applied best after being opened for a bit. A little goes a long way and use a light hand at first. The mascara lasted most of my day but would start to flake towards the end of my work day. The black is very black and my lashes looked great. I don’t think it is worth the luxury price tag though.
