Rated 5 out of 5 by Dixie from Really like the Revival Idk why so many don't like this product because it's been wonderful for me. I've been a regular user of Blue Malva for decades and am happy to add the Revival formula to my product use. I have naturally white hair with darker silver underneath and this product combo really lifts and lightens the oxidized yellow, making it a pretty white. I did not get that result with one use as per product claims, but it did , about after a few washings. My normal hair cleansing routine consists of baking soda/water ("poo-free" cleansing) plus vinegar/water rinsing (for beautiful shine and bounce), at least 3x per week. Another 1-2x per week I use an Aveda purple pigment product (sometimes other brands). I have the best results with Aveda, but it's a bit too spendy for my budget. I much prefer low-surfacants formulas (AKA, low suds) like Revival Blonde. Both the shampoo and conditioner rinse out very clean and leave my long hair fluffy and whiter. Once you're used to "poo-free", there's just no going back to that soapy feeling of surfactant&based products that never seem to rinse out. Just one cleansing with baking soda/water combo will prove that point (basic formula is one level tablespoon baking soda to one cup water). My only complaint iwith Aveda is the high price point for the larger sizes. After all, lowering the price would not lower its quality. Heavy sigh.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Zoey from Very Hydrating I was born with very thin Asian black hair and I bleached it blonde, on top of tackling the brassiness that comes along, my main concern was hydration and the preserving the general health of my hair. I was a little worried about this product after reading the reviews, but after giving it a try I can personally say that I like this product and would buy again. It is very hydrating and detangles my bleach damaged hair so well! I see reviews complaining about the scent, but I personally love the scent I think it's refreshing. If you are unsure about the product definitely ask for a sample packet before you commit as Aveda is on the pricier end. I would recommend though!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MW from Worked Wonders I found that the key to using this shampoo is to mix it with another when applying. Then I let it sit on my hair for about 5 min while I wash and then rinse it out. It really took all the yellow out of my hair!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MamaCass from I like it! Sounds like conditions need to be perfect to use this shampoo so I'll explain my situation. I do not use it daily and use a different conditioner like nutriplenish light or scalp benefits. I have fine, thick hair and my hair tends to be greasy after one day so I have to wash daily or use a dry shampoo. I live in a dry climate and this shampoo works perfectly to tone down brassiness in my highlights. I find the scent delightful but some people don't so you may want to check it out in person before purchasing. The conditioner is hard to get out of the bottle, which is why I don't use it, but I may try the blue malva after reading reviews.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dia from Pleasantly surprised I have finicky hair & scalp (fine but extremely thick hair, dry oily scalp, and constantly dry air in Alberta) and usually I will only use Scalp Benefits because other things either result in dry crispy hair or gunky flaky scalp or both. However, this year I got very pale blonde highlights and really wanted to maintain the cool tones, with the goal of white blonde not yellow. My stylist recommended this and I assumed it wouldn't work for me but was pleasantly surprised; it doesn't aggravate my scalp or dry out my hair. I still use Scalp Benefits most of the time, but every third wash I switch to this in order to revive my highlights. Works great as a toner, I follow the instructions carefully and let it sit 3-5 minutes before rinsing and every time my colour is noticeably cooler and less coppery than prior to the wash. Best of all, it leaves my hair lovely and soft. I often get compliments on days that I've used it. I also use the Blonde Revival conditioner and I find either one gives the same results as a toner for my blonde highlights. I don't use them both at the same time though; I use either Blonde Revival shampoo with Scalp Benefits conditioner or vice versa (the combo works best to clarify my scalp but also maintain my colour). The description specifically states that it's a low-lather formula, so I think people complaining about it having no lather probably just didn't realize that. Personally I prefer a low-lather shampoo, but if you're someone who needs a lot of foam when shampooing then you should go with a different product.
