Good with Limitations

I've used this product for a few years in a feeble attempt to cover an increasing number of grays. I found that the black blends in better than the brown with my natural shade, which is dark brown. This stick works if you're trying to temporarily cover a little bit of gray, especially at the hairline. It won't adequately cover a large patch of gray. It is easy to use but will come off if you try to brush your hair afterward and can also melt and end up on your face. Be careful.

Useless.

I fell for the gimmick. I got it to hide a few grays for a photo shoot. It’s pretty useless, doesn’t cover a thing. It’s not even pigmented. Save your money.

Great for covering up a few grays while you wait for your next dye job. Not as messy as other gray coverup products.,

Good for small touch ups in between hair dyes

This product is great for a quick fix... especially when I need to tie my hair up. It stays on well and doesn't come off in my hands if I touch my hair.

Good colour control and crayon formula

Love this product. It has much more control than a spray and the formula works better in my hair than other brands I’ve tried. I get through this quickly (so 4 stars for cost)

Hard to use

This crayon is too hard to apply to the hair. You will get more of it on your scalp without it covering the grey hair. I would like to send it back. Don't waste your money.

Quick, goof-proof colour

Easy to use and covers greys in a natural looking way. It is not transfer resistant though - so keep your hands off.

Great product.

Perfect for covering visible silver flyaways and for on-the-go. It’s obviously not for covering an entire head of hair, but for the odd silver here and there, it’s great. It’s sensitive-skin friendly, too.

Good if minimal gray

I was a bit concerned because quite a few reviews about it breaking and being a tiny amount of product. So far , mine has not broke and the product seems like it will last at least 2-3 months The color is a nice natural neutral brown. It went on easy and didn’t transfer. I liked that it is one simple product , portable and self sharpening. if you have a lot of gray hairs this probably won’t last long. ( color wow might be better)

Black

It is not at all what I expected. It just doesn’t show colour and hide the grey hair, what is the use of this product then? And I could see I am using ample amount of product. I would definitely like a refund or May be this stick is defective so would like an exchange for a new one.

Works great but.... I

bought this about six months ago and use it once in a while. It works great. You need to apply to hair then smudge it. I love that it allows so much control. I do not like two things... 1) some color comes off somewhat easily on anything it touches, if there is a little pressure. 2) It has lighted the hair I apply it to and my usual coloring (eSalon for scattered greys) can't seem to stick to those hairs where I applied this stick more thickly. So, back to finding the right touchup tool, plus, what do I do with the area that lighter hair? I think it has to grow out??? I have dark brown hair.

this is a great, simple way to buy some time between hair appointments. it’s highly pigmented, doesn’t run and is a quick fix.
