Aquasource Cream - Dry Skin

Great for dry skin

Used to use this in my 20s and it was a really good cream. It was really hydrating and made my dry skin very plump and dewy, but not greasy. I've now switched over to the Biotherm Skin Best line which I really love as well. Would recommend this for anyone who has dry skin.

This face cream lives up to its name; RICH. If you're looking for a very hydrating face cream, this is a great product for you! I have very oily skin, thus I find that this cream is best to use at night. My only critique is the (somewhat) high price.

Use on sensitive with eczema

I have dry, eczema prone, sensitive, mature skin. While, if experiencing any mild eczema breakouts, this cream will sting momentarily upon application, it has proven to be the only one I have found to date which offers me some moisture relief. Perhaps not the best thing, but I have relied on it to find some relief for years now. Notes: - I did try the "dry dry" skin formula, and found this was not as effective for me. - I store in smaller jars and use a q-tip so as not to contaminate and to limit exposure to air, in order to maintain cream's efficacy. This has made a difference.

hydrating but ruined my complexion

I have very dry skin. This is the most hydrating cream I have ever used, my skin felt amazing after immediate use. However, after a week my skin was breaking out and getting really shiny. I am NOT prone to breakouts (I am pimple free 95% of the time), and do NOT have sensitive skin (unlike most freckled folk). I did not want it to be this cream because I loved it so much- but it was the only change to my beauty routine. I stopped it and my complexion reversed. So dissapointing.

AMAZING!!!

This is the best moisturizer I have ever used, not sure why the other reviewer had problems with this as a day cream, I put a thin layer every morning and I have the driest skin in the world (I'm talking peeling everywhere) And within 30 seconds it's soaked into my skin and all my dry spots are gone, the hydration lasts about 2 days (sometimes if I'm in a rush I'll skip moisturizer) and it makes my skin amazingly soft. I ran out a few months ago and have been trying out cheaper ones but nothing compares to this, I will definitely be repurchasing when I have the money again. Also one tub lasts about 6 months with every day use which makes the price not so bad to me

Wonderful moisturizer, but...

This is one of the most hydrating creams I have ever used, and it is extremely effective. I usually have dry, flaky skin around my nose, and nothing has been hydrating enough...except for this. However, it is very thick and somewhat greasy-feeling on the face. I don't know how anyone can use this as a day cream. Personally, I use it at night over a nighttime retinol treatment and it works wonderfully. By morning, my skin is so soft and feels hydrated. Since I began using it my dry, flaky skin has totally disappeared (making my makup look 100x better during the day). I also love the scent! Overall this cream is extremely effective at hydrating dry skin, but I don't recommend it for daytime use. It seems better suited as a night cream.
