Forget Frizz - Anti-krus shampoo

Great for frizz, not so much for oily hair

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. This was not my favorite product and I generally like what Amika has to offer. I used this with the conditioner, but as a shampoo alone it left my hair feeling a little oily and when I would do a blow out it felt like I didn’t wash my hair, despite shampooing twice. It does help with controlling frizz that even after blowing out my hair, I only had flyaways that needed styling oil but my hair would be set. I recommend either doing just the conditioner alone with a clarifying shampoo or using it if you have a dry scalp. Oily hair… not so much!

Lovely shampoo for smoothing frizz.

Great shampoo, smells amazing and definitely makes my hair look and feel smoother and softer. Good packaging and good value for money. I use it once a week in-between my usual anti dandruff shampoo.

Cute Packaging

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I like the tall, slender , and colorful packaging! I tend to have multiple shampoo and conditioners in my shower, and the packaging makes it easy to identify and grab. It has the signature amika scent - it doesn’t scent the hair after rinsing which I like. The formula lathers well and rinses clean, but I don’t think it’s a game changer when it comes to frizz.

Smooth hydrated hair

My hair is naturally dry and curly, feels like a birds nest . I have used Amika shampoo twice so far and it works well on my curly frizzy hair. My hair feels smooth, less frizzy and hydrated. Has a lovely refreshing scent and I like the quirky looking bottle.

Left a terrible build-up

I purchased the Anti-frizz line (shampoo, conditioner, treatment and spray). It took washing my hair four times in one day to figure out what was making my hair feel so dirty (it leaves such a gross build-up). I was going nuts., even ran into the store to buy some clarifying shampoo which did not help while using the anti-frizz conditioner. Thankfully I was able to return the products.

A brilliant shampoo that really does help with my frizz. It smells lovely and comes in a lovely tall thin bottle. I would definitely buy this again

Great for curly hair

I received the amika forget frizz anti-shampoo for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I have curly hair and this shampoo really helps keep it smooth, shiny, and frizz-free. It works even better when I use it with the matching conditioner. My curls feel soft and look healthy. Definitely recommend to everyone.

So frizz free!

After just one use of this product i could visibly see results. In the shower, I washed my hair with both the conditioner and the shampoo while also using there soul food hair mask. After getting out of the shower, I rung out my hair as I normally do and towel dried it for a bit because my hair is very thick and can hold lots of water. I then sprayed the spray and began blow drying after drying just one section fully. I could visibly see the results normally after I blow dry my hair. It’s a big puffy mess. with some of my waves coming through. But after using these products, I left my hair, sleek and straight for the most part. with just a little bit of my wave. I would highly recommend if you have thick wavy hair like I do. especially if it takes a while to dry because I noticed after using this product. it also helped my hair dry bit faster. I recommend after blow drying. use a round brush. or straightener help get rid of the little bit of frizz you may have.

Hair feels so soft

I love this. My hair feel super soft after using this. Great for my colour too as it’s sulphate free! Smells so nice and obsessed with the fun packaging. Would 100% buy again. Also would love to try other things from this range.

Good product

I love this! Can you please send a bigger bottle with conditioner too! I love the packaging, smell and also what it does to my hair, my hair is permed and it does get frizzy and this anti frizz just does the job!

Not for me - but doesn’t mean it’s not for you

Thank you to Influenster & Amika for sending these products for free in exchange for my honest reviews. I'm not the biggest fan of this shampoo. While I think it does its job of getting rid of frizz, it doesn't leave the scalp/hair feeling clean, and almost like there's a film or oil on it, even while still in the shower. Might be a good idea to get a sample first to see if it's compatible with your hair type & needs

Awful product, doesn’t work

Terrible shampoo. Does nothing for frizz and causes crazy buildup after just 2 days. Like others have said, this is comparable to drug store shampoo and not worth the price point
