Does not smell like honey, not at all. Why would they call it that, make the shape of the jar as such, and yet put out a strongly spiced scented like a cheap man aftershave scent. So strong and stinky. If you want to wear your own perfume, don’t get this because it will dominate . It’s got a a super strong yuck overpowering smell that doesn’t wash out. If you are sensitive to manufactured scents, this is not a choice. I really don’t understand why these companies dose these products with these awful overpowering smells, that we are forced to smell and walk around with because we wanted to soften our hair or use a hair product to have our hair function a certain way. It’s These scents are cross purposes, they are offensive. I can’t use it. I don’t want to smell like this, yuck. And it overpowers my nose all day. Golly, please stop hair companies!

The best hair mask

Tried the new Gisou Hair Mask and my high porosity, straight-with-curly-ends hair is obsessed. It leaves my hair super soft, hydrated, and frizz-free without weighing it down. My ends feel nourished, curls more defined, and it smells like sweet honey all day. Totally worth it.

Hydration for Days

I got a sample size of this hair mask. I got a couple uses out of it and I will definitely be purchasing. My hair felt extremely soft and hydrating for days after using!!!!!

Worth it!

This product is not heavy, and the next day it made my hair soft and smooth. It could have done a bit like more shine but overall it’s a really good product and the price is amazing for its results.

Absolutely amazing! I used this mask in the shower after shampooing, and it is heavenly, I could instantly feel how soft and healthy my hair was after rinsing it out. After styling my natural curls as normal I was left with the most beautiful and healthy looking curls/waves! I will buy this again.

Possibly a keeper time will tell

I bought the mask (small) and the conditioner. I have natural grey, very dry hair and my go to routine was discontinued so I was / am on the hunt to change my routine. I used it today for the first time. I washed with my regular shampoo, I towel dried, sectioned my hair and applied the mask, I was expecting it to slide on more than what it did but it didn't pull and knot my hair either. I twisted it up for 15 minutes, and jumped in the shower and followed it up with the regular Gisou conditioner to seal in all the good stuff, again I was expecting more of a soft slide when applying it, and the regular conditioner is so thick it won't come out unless I removed the lid. I think that the design needs a little work. After rinsing the regular conditioner out, I thought to myself, hummmm I may have to rewash and start again. I proceeded with my regular blow dry product (I only round brush dry no flat iron), and I was surprised. It did come out soft, shiny and a bit less frizz,and my ends didn't feel as dry as before using. So all in all yes, it works. Do I love it? I am not sure, maybe it will be better the second time around, I wish it just had a little more slide to it. The scent? I don't think it's a horrible scent or strong, I would say it's more a natural scent and soft, after adding my styling products, I can not smell it. The small mask jar I think will last me at least 3 to 4 applications for reference.

Not for me

I didn’t enjoy this product unfortunately. My hair didn’t feel moisturized after using it as instructed initially and then the using it with a hooded dryer for 20 mins the second time. My hair is 4C low porosity btw

Straw hair

I was so excited about getting this product and wanted to love it but I’ve given it a few chances and my hair is so dry and rough. I’m going to stick to my current hair mask which actually works for my hair. I’m just glad I didn’t buy the full size.

Not so much!

I was so excited to try this, but I was disappointed. I thought it made my hair feel like straw and not smooth at all. Not a winner for me unfortunately to my dismay
