True Skin Serum - Foundation

My favorite

I've replaced the skin serum with this, I love it! Good medium coverage but not too thick, not at all cakey and doesn't make my fine lines stand out. The best.

So far I like the coverage

I have only used 3 days. So far I am liking the color and the coverage

Feels heavy

Not a very nice application- feels heavy and sticky without any brightening. This just feels like you are painting over your skin vs enhancing it as I expected. Pretty disappointed and won’t purchase again.

Unfortunately allergic

I am not sure what happened, but this made my face so painfully itchy, and made me breakout on my forehead with one use. I chose the product because of the ingredients, but something did not react. It’s moisturizing for sure, but unfortunately is also feeling like an itchy burn.

My very first foundation

This is the first foundation of my life and am glad i got this one . The shade match my skin really well and looked natural .never made my face look cakey or heavy will buy again for sure

My new everyday foundation!

I have used this every day for the last couple of weeks and I love it. I swear it makes my skin so much softer.

Holy grail. Will never use any other foundation.

Pure perfection. I have been using this foundation for a couple years and get so many compliments on my skin. I never enjoyed wearing makeup until I tried this foundation. Would be lost if they ever discontinued this product or the Sable SF.5 color. It's beautiful and buildable, and it makes your skin healthier. A big win all around.

Lightweight and buildable, but pricey

I bought the ILIA foundation after getting my face scanned in-store. Overall, it feels light on the skin and I sometimes layer it for more coverage over my sun spots. However, no SPF, so I have to apply sunscreen first. I like the wide shade range and decent longevity. Downsides: pricey, and slightly orange on my skin. It needs powder on top, especially when I use oily sunscreen.

Not sure how I feel about this product and its price. It’s ok But expensive for day to day

Shame on me for buying this a second time, I thought for sure- the bottle was defective. When I bought again, no, this is the design. It does not fully close- you absolutely cannot travel with this bottle, it completely leaks, and makes a total mess. Even when not traveling with it, it is messy. "Shake well before use" - ok, but you need to give me a bottle that can be shaken.

Feels like stage makeup in the worst way

Purchased because I was looking for something more pink tone and lighter. Unfortunately it still pulls a yellow tint on and the serum base makes it feel like you’re wearing oil based paint.

Horrendous

I have been using this for a while now and trying out different primers with it, and using the ILIA loose powder. I’m 27 and I have clear skin with very minimal blemishes and fine lines, but no matter how well I take care of my skin and no matter the primer, it separates, moves around, and looks so patchy I can see how bad it looks 6 ft away from the mirror. It’s even worse in natural lighting. Not to mention it smells awful like playdoh and hardly covers anything. I’ve been using it simply because I spent so much money on it but it’s finally going in the trash after today. I like their other products so I was super bummed by this one. Definitely do not buy esp if you have combo skin. Even drugstore foundations are better than this.
