Great for full coverage using powder foundation!

I’ve been trying to find a brush or sponge to apply pressed powder foundation to achieve full coverage. For reference, I have oily combo/acne prone skin that tends to have larger pores in the t-zone from past acne scarring. This sponge is very easy to use, reaches the crevices relatively well, and is at a great price point. No friction, no fallout from bristles, and no powder foundation was wasted. I’ve seen mixed reviews about liquid foundation, but it works well with pressed powder foundation to achieve fuller coverage!

Beautiful Application, But Needs a Redesign

The puff delivers a beautiful application- my makeup foundation went on more evenly and with smoother finish compared to other sponges I've tried. However, the durability and construction need improvement. The puff holder broke within the first week of use, and after washing, the interior material lost its shape. The plastic coating developed a hole, which allowed water to seep in, expanding the inner material, and distort the puff. As a result, it no longer lays flat or returns to its original form. As you can see from the pictures below, the construction is not the best. A redesign with sturdier materials and more water resistant construction would make this a much more reliable product.

I think this is an okay sponge. Not as flexible as some other sponge I have so I think it’s a bit more difficult to get to the side of the nose. I would probably not repurchase.

This puff/sponge is amazing!!!! It is great for both liquid and powder foundations. Application is so smooth and finish is beautiful. This sponge is a keeper…dare I say HG?

Love love it! I used morphe puff for years but this is more convenient has a finger loop AND cleans very easily!

This puff makes applying liquid foundation an absolute breeze in the quickest of ways! It applies it beautifully, evenly and effortlessly! I’m ordering a backup as we speak! Run, don’t walk!!

Soft spongel

I have to be honest in saying this is the first sponge I have ever used I normally use my fingers to apply and a brush to distribute and blend so I don't have any other sponge to compare to but I found it to feel nice on my skin however as far as how much product I had to use and how well it blended I personally prefer my normal way of applying foundation. For those who prefer using using a sponge you may like this one because it is very soft on your skin, it is made to be the perfect size and shape making applying makeup around the eyes pretty easy, it also has a strap on the back so your not having to worry about dropping it as easy, and it comes with a cute little case so you have somewhere to store it once it's washed and dries fully.

Okay sponge

it felt so soft right out of the package. Plus, it has this little strap on the back that makes it easier to hold,no more dropping my sponge across the bathroom. Lol I know super gross. Which is why I liked this idea At first, I liked it. It’s gentle and bouncy on the skin, but wow… it soaks up makeup like crazy. Way more than my other sponges. I found myself using extra foundation and concealer just to get my usual coverage, which feels wasteful. With liquids, it can also look a little cakey unless you spend extra time blending. For setting powder, it works fine, just about the same as any other sponge. I love the concept and the feel, but it’s not special enough to replace my go-to. Soft? Yes. Cute? Yes. Worth the extra product it eats up? Not for me. Solid 3/5.

Decent sponge!

The Sephora collection tap that puff complexion cushion sponge says it’s made from a dense low absorption foam to give medium to full coverage. It can be used with all types of makeup formulas, and can also be used wet or dry.  I do like the size and shape. I like that it has a loop to secure it on your finger. It’s very easy to hold.  I also like the way it applies liquid foundation, but I do feel like it absorbed more than my other sponge I was using.  It has the texture of one of those sponges that comes with the Korean foundation. I think I may like it more for doing powders (foundation/highlighter) and some cream items. Overall, it’s a good sponge and it has a good price point so I definitely can see myself buying another one in the future or maybe the mini version.
