Scalp Serum

Nice

I don't know if this helped much with hair growth but it is very soothing on my scalp and i love the way it smells. I would rebuy this for scalp hydration/soothing when feeling dry or itchy after a deep clean shampooing

Magical product!

I bought a holiday kit for the Detox Shampoo and this came as a bonus. It sat in the cupboard for a month because I didn't really know what it was and was concerned it would mess up my blow dry (you use it on dry hair) and/or make it greasy. You put a few drops on your scalp at night and rub it in, it goes on very thin but immediately penetrates into your scalp so no wetness or residual oil. Since using it (about 6 weeks) I have noticed a huge improvement in the health and condition of my hair. I have been working on healing my dry damaged bleached hair for a year and half and it is improving but this gave me instant results of a huge improvement on the texture and health of my hair. My hair is always so silky and soft now. I don't know if it helps speed up growth because my hair has always grown fast. I wish I had bought more of the holiday kits because it was a such a good deal but i would even buy this on it's own at full price, it is that good!

I know this serum doesn’t actually have any hair growth ingredients, but I have seen a crazy increase in hair density and growth since starting to use this product consistently three years ago. The hydration this serum gives the scalp must be doing something right! I have tried basically every scalp serum on the market and even the ones people say are not greasy have always left my hair looking like I haven’t showered in a few days. This one is different, when I massage it in it dries perfectly dry and isn’t greasy. It has a pleasing smell that isn’t overbearing. I totally recommend this serum.

Smells amazing, okay results

Smells amazing! I think this did really hydrate my scalp well, but I didn’t see a difference in hair growth that I wanted. I want a perfume of this scent so badly!

Saved my dry winter scalp

Calgary has very dry winters and my scalp was feeling itchy, tight, and flaky. This serum really helped soothe my scalp and restore moisture. After consistent use, my scalp feels calmer, more comfortable, and much healthier. Lightweight and doesn’t weigh my hair down.

This is a hard pass for me. This Made me feel terrible. I have no idea if it works because of how it has made me feel. The first time I used it I felt bad but was hoping it wasn't the hair serum making me feel bad a week later I used it again. I feel terrible once again.

Nothing miraculous but I’m impressed

I bought this in a bundle with the detox shampoo (that I love) Picked it up before a trip in November and then used it most every night for about 8 weeks around my hairline and the sections above my ears. I’m not using it as consistently since Jan 1 and I still have about half a bottle left. Pretty sure I was using more than I needed to as well. Over Christmas I went to do my hair and it really seemed like it had made a difference in my baby hairs with slightly less noticeable effect past my hairline. Recommend as scent is nice, feels nice on the hair, doesn’t impact styling or oiliness and it genuinely seems to work. Would be more willing to buy it again if it was on sale.

Zero star - doesn’t help with scalp/hair health

I purchased this product on a whim after seeing so many positive reviews. I already struggle with hair issues and regularly test new products, but unfortunately this one made things worse. My hair loss increased, and it also caused noticeable scalp irritation. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Hair loss

I honestly think this made me lose even more hair around my hairline. It’s not greasy which is nice but I’ve gone thru a full bottle and pretty sure i have less hair than what I started with.

Didn’t irritate my scalp but didn’t do much if anything towards hair growth. Super expensive for not that big of a bottle

The best Ouai product

I needed a scalp serum for my dry/itchy scalp and chose this one for the added benefit of thickening. To be honest I thought Ouai products were mostly for the aesthetic but omg it’s only been a month and I have soo much new growth. And it worked to balance my itchy but oily scalp

Made a big difference already

I’ve only been using this for a little over 2 weeks and there is already a huge difference in the thickness in my hair!! Highly recommend
