Oil and Pore Control - Mattifier SPF45

Disappointed.

Not worth the money. It is hard to apply, it’s doesn’t spread accords the face nicely. It’s a NO from me.

Perfect for oily skin

I have very oily skin and this is works perfectly. Normally by mid day my skin would start to look oily again but using this stops that from hapoenkng

Highly recommend for oily skin

I've been looking for a good Moisturiser that doesn't make my oily skin look shiny after 20 minutes for so long and this is amazing! With added benefit of SPF, its amazing!!

Overpriced for what it is

Have Murad changed the formula recently? This is slightly worse than it used to be, gets peely and patchy when foundation is applied over it. Good SPF and ok when worn on its own

Murad Oil and Pore Control Mattifier

Purchased this product for a friend who wanted this as one of her leaving presents. She is happy with this product.

High SPF, not as mattifying as it used to be

I preferred the old formula of this Murad Oil and Pore Control Mattifier because it worked much better at mattifying than this new formula and lasted all day. The mattifying effect doesn't last all day now. I am still suffering with greasy T Zone areas by half way through the day, whereas previously it used to last until I took my make-up off at night. It also feels thicker and more greasy when you put it on than it used to so subsequently takes longer to absorb into your skin. That said I've continued to buy this for now because I like that it now has an SPF of 45 whereas previously it was only SPF15. Which might explain why it's less mattifying and thicker now. I would suggest not putting it around your eyes as the SPF in it now makes irritates them and makes them water. If I could find a high SPF in a mattifying cream it would be great, but so far I've not had much luck so am sticking with this. It used to be great, now it's just OK.

I came across this product a few months ago, after searching hours and hours for the perfect moisturiser for my oily skin. It definitely does exactly what it promises to do. My pores are instantly minimised and I get a whole day of oil & shine control - amazing product!
