Pulls out my curls

I have naturally curly, fine hair which is mainly corkscrew curls. I was advised when purchasing a shampoo, conditioner, revitaliser set that I needed to use only Aveda Style products otherwise the rest would not work. I wanted some hold for my curls to keep them shiny & bouncy all day. What I am left with is lank, dry, frizzy waves, not a corkscrew curl in sight now I have followed the instructions & scrunched my hair, either air drying or blow drying it, but it's made no difference. I get the feeling this product is aimed more at Afro hair types & I was sold something not suitable for me. An expensive mistake that I am still paying for.

Aveda Curl Gelee

Have been using this for a couple of years and love it! It really enhances the waves and curls. Non sticky and smells nice too!

WRONG DESCRIPTION

This product advertises wrong resolution, it makes the curls super hard and stiff. I would like to raise a complaint and I would like a refund please.

Nice, but not for me

I was really hoping this would help define my curls a little more. I've used Aveda for years and use the Curly range with the Sap Moss shampoo and conditioner but I found this gelee left my hair on the crunchier side. I'll use it all up -- as it's not cheap but I probably won't purchase again. There are good reviews for this product out there so maybe it wasn't suitable for my type 3A curls.

Go-to Gel for Curls

Great lightweight texture, smells amazing, and doesn't leave curls crunchy. This is our go-to gel in a household of curly girls.

Great for wavy/curly hair

I was a bit sceptical about using gel - but I am sold! Really helps to keep more of a defined curl in my wavy hair. Once hair is dry I just scrunch my hair up a bit to 'break the cast' so it isn't crunchy feeling.

Great product, does what it says it will do. No flaking or residue, lovely fresh smell.

Works like a charm!

was recommended by my hairdresser for styling wavy curls with no frizz and am always reluctant to spend this much on one product but it’s seriously worth it, don’t think I’ll be looking back. Smells and feels great too!

It’s a bit crispy

It’s good at holding my coils and keeping the humidity out but it does go crispy rather than feeling soft and natural.
