I love this brand so much! They have yet to fail me. Product smells amazing and I love how it cleaned my hair! Left my hair feeling nice and clean while smelling amazing. Didn’t leave my scalp feeling dry either which I love!

Makes my hair feel fresh and clean!

I have medium-textured hair that’s prone to frizz and dryness, and this shampoo has been perfect for me. The formula feels really nourishing without weighing my hair down. From the first wash, I noticed more shine and less frizz, which is exactly what I struggle with. The scent is fresh, clean, and not overpowering. It works so well with my routine because I wash 2–3 times a week, and it gives me that clean-but-not-stripped feeling every time. My hair just looks healthier and stronger when I use this.

I've been using this shampoo and I really like it. It makes a good lather and cleans my hair without making it feel dry. My favorite part is the smell—it's a fresh rose with a little lemon, and it makes my shower feel nice. After using it, my hair feels soft, looks shiny, and doesn't get frizzy like it used to. It's simple and just works well.

This shampoo is so so good! It smells nice and clean! Gets my hair feeling super clean as well! This left my hair very shiny and smooth! You really can’t go wrong with Ouai! They always do it right!!!

I have tried the fine hair version of this and honestly hated it. This one on the other hand has done wonders for my hair! It really feels so clean without that stripped feeling. My hair is left looking shiny and feeling refreshed! Plus it smells so good!

OUAI Medium Hair Shampoo smells fresh and feels gentle on my hair. It cleans well without drying and leaves my hair soft, smooth, and a bit shinier. It helps with frizz and the quality feels worth it. I like that it cleans deeply but doesn’t strip my hair or make it feel dry.

A wonderful shampoo! Just look at the results — my hair is silky and hydrated. I also love the scent. I don’t always enjoy perfumes, but this shampoo complements my fragrance perfectly. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been using this Ouai shampoo for awhile now, and I’m very impressed with the results. It cleans thoroughly without stripping my hair of moisture, leaving it feeling soft, lightweight, and refreshed. The formula lathers well, and a little goes a long way.

This smell is not for me

I think the shampoo itself is actually quite good. I have long hair, so I usually need a lot of product to get everything fully lathered, but with this one I was surprised — I only need a tiny amount, and it foams up beautifully. It cleans my hair really well without making it feel dry or stripped, and the results look great. The only issue, and unfortunately it’s a big one for me, is the fragrance. I’ve used other shampoos, conditioners, and masks from OUAI before, and they all smelled amazing on me. But this scent is… just not it. It’s not mildly unpleasant — it genuinely bothers me, and I don’t know why. What makes it worse is that the smell reminds me of the OUAI shampoo I use for my pets. It’s almost the exact same scent. So after I wash my hair, I literally feel like I smell like a wet dog. I know it sounds dramatic, but that’s exactly how it hits my nose. Because of this fragrance alone, even though I like how the shampoo performs, I won’t be continuing to use it.

Ouai Medium Hair Shampoo has officially earned a permanent spot in my shower—I’m on my second bottle and still obsessed. The scent is luxurious but not overpowering, and it leaves my hair soft, clean, and perfectly balanced without weighing it down. My hair feels healthier every wash.

The shampoo smells amazing. The scent lasts all day till my next hair wash. It has amazing ingredients like, KUMQUAT FRUIT EXTRACT is full of vitamins A, B & C that add shine, and BABASSU OIL helps to provides hydration to hair and scalp. My hair looks and feel healthy.
