Not a fan of the scent! 😷
I took 2 stars off for the scent and consistency of the lotion. First off I ordered this lotion online because I’m usually a huge fan of amber, bergamot, and sweet scents. I was NOT expecting it to smell eerily similar to chai tea. I now realize my mistake was not being aware that amber and ambre are different. I wish I would have returned it and gotten bergamot instead. I now use this lotion whenever I don’t feel like using my good lotions… and as for the consistency it’s a bit watery but still does its job at hydrating.

Body Lotion - Bergamote fraîche
Mediocre
After using this product over the course of three days I can say it is safe to say that is a mediocre and subpar product. Fragrance: the original scent smells like the complimentary soap and lotion you get at a fancy beach hotel. Not particularly pleasant to me, however I can find how others may enjoy it due to nostalgia or the summer time. Consistency: it is very thin and liquidy, if you pump this on ur palm and hold your hand vertically, the product will run off and drop onto the floor. Moisture: Compared to Cerave or Jergens, the Moroccanoil lotion does not moisturize the skin much at all. After using it right out the shower, I found that a little does NOT go a long way. You have to use a decent amount of product to apply over the skin. There is no greasyness or leftover residue, but I ended up having to go in with a second layer or using another lotion. I would recommend this product for users who would want to display this in their bathroom for guests. It makes more sense as a hand lotion to use after hand washing given the scent, the consistency, and also the aesthetically pleasing bottle.
