Leaves hair feeling sticky and greasy

i was advised by the Aveda team to buy the INVATI set of shampoo, conditioner & scalp serum for my fine thin hair. I was using faith in nature but wanted to switch to a better quality shampoo with natural ingredients. The shampoo and condtioner are ok, not amazing, but hoping they help with my fine hair. This serum however is awful and leaves my hair so greasy, applying 16 pumps daily is imposssible! Surely it has been designed for flat thin hair so why would it be so heavy. I'm gutted to have wasted my money on the larger bottle that i will no longer use.

Hugely disappointing

I bought this as part of the invati light set. I have been using invati products for a few months now so feel i have given them a fair go. For reference, I am a 34 year old male with quite serious thinning hair. Since trying this new serum after they discontinued the male only range, I felt this has dramatically accelerated my hair loss. I have been using the serum daily as recommended and washing 2-3 times a week using the invati products. I feel these products are intentionally vague in their marketing as they are marketed as helping thinning hair but the small print mentions "due to breakage" which is probably not the main reason why people are buying this. Im so disappointed in the products especially for the price and that i have given them a good go for around 3 months. Don't bother, go and see a specialist. This will do nothing

Not sure!

The serum went on smoothly. It didn't feel sticky as I applied it. Not sure if it made any difference as only used it twice.

Amazing

I like it , I am loosing hair and would need to use more long term to see the extent of success. But I like the feel when I use it

Lovely product

Its super easy to apply. I didn't feel any reaction, no tingling feeling. Its got pleasant clean smell. It doesn't leave a thick film on my hair so I can style my hair same as before trying the product. I haven't used it long enough to see the thickening effect but my hair is less frizzy.

Nice Addition To Your Haircare Routine!

My scalp definitely felt super clean after using this, and my hair generally felt a lot fresher and lighter. I do struggle with build-up, so this feels like a good way to help keep things clean

Amazing product

Love the nozzle it's so easy to spray, product doesn't drip, smells lovely. There is a warning it may cause a warming sensation but I felt nothing. For the two weeks I've been using I've actually noticed the difference after the first week. Only downside is the price.

Great product

Since being peri menopausal I've noticed my normally thick hair has got considerably thinner. I used the Aveda scalp revitalising serum and have noticed a difference after blowing drying, feeling slightly thicker. I will continue with the sample and will be purchasing the product.

Light and moisturising

I used it on my scalp after washing and during my hair. It felt so light when sprayed on the scalp and had a pleasant smell. It kept my hair fresh for a few days before my next wash. I also realised my scalp did not flake like before from being dry.

it have a lovely refreshing tingly sensation upon application but because greasy looking, so the no rise instruction is a little difficult i'd only use this the night before hair washing day

Hair serum aveda

I love the way it made my hair feel soft and smooth and how it tamed my fly away hair also the fact it reduced my hair fall. I will defo be investing in this product and looking into all the range seems a very good range that delivers results . Am happy with it
